So you’re going to New York City ?! Of course, you’re going to want to be taking amazing NYC Instagram photos right? There’s a reason New York City one of the most photographed and filmed cities in the world. Around every corner there is something new, interesting, and visually stunning. Making it an content creators dream.
This was my first trip to New York, so I spent weeks researching good photography spots, places to eat, and things I wanted to see. I found that the hashtag #theprettycitiesnewyork was super helpful in finding beautiful spots off the beaten path to take the perfect Instagrm photos in NYC.
We only had 72 hours in the big city so we didn’t get to shoot at every single location I had on my list, but I’ve made a little map that shows all the spots we shot at and I’m also including my wish list of spots I want to hit next time!
GET THE MAP
CLICK HEREto access my interactive Google Map with geo tags, photos, and descriptions + tidbits about each place we shot, where we ate, and my list of spots we didn’t get to that are at the top of my list for the next trip!
HOW TO USE THE MAP:
Open the link and it will take you directly to the google maps app or website. There are 4 layers to the map which you can toggle on and off. If you click on the icons of each location it will give you the geo-tag, the website, address, and show you the instagram photos I took at that spot or want to take next time I go! I did my best to give you all the details and helpful tidbits in the description of each location. Let me know what you think and if you enjoy this format!
All of the details and locations are in the map, but here’s a quick overview of some of my favorite photos in NYC! I have a huge file of photos still to edit, so I’ll add more as I get more of them done. Make sure to read the notes in each map marker to get all of the tips on how to get the best shot at each location and things I learned. You’ll also see the photos I took at each location in the gallery associated with each map marker.
ENJOY! And don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions! It was my first time to New York and I certainly don’t know everything, but I did learned a ton. I’ll be doing another post soon about all my recommendations for you fellow New York first timers!
