Headed to the beach this week with my babies! We are ready to soak up the sun in our new Kortni Jeane Swimmers. I’ve literally searched what feels like the whole world for a full booty coverage / yet still stylish and slimming swimsuit, and I’m giving these suits an A plus. I got a few sets of matching suits for June and Teddy and I from Kortni Jeane to try out the varying styles and none of them have disappointed.
I’ve put each of these suits through the “Mommin’ at the Beach” test – aka, squatting, digging in the sand, jumping waves, holding babies, lugging tons of beach gear to a fro, nursing, and just being comfortable!
My biggest test factors were: did they ride up, dig in, get too loose, let things fall out or get uncomfortable at any point?

My number 2 pick is the Kortni Jeane Highwaisted Bottoms with the V-Neck Top.
Again, the bottoms are like magic fabric. Holds in a supports the lower belly mommy pooch, and the cut of the legs is so flattering! I like the higher cut leg opening because my booty tends to cut cut off at a weird spot with the standard high waisted bottoms. However, I know the standard ones look great on lots of people too – and have a really nice full coverage for your bum.
Just because the sun’s out doesn’t mean my buns have to be out!! PTL for a swimsuit company who finally understands this in a fashionable way. I love that I can be an active mom on the beach and I am not continually worried about picking my bathing suit out of my bum. Ya know what I mean?
I also love that their website shows the suits on regular women from every body type and size! So you can truly see what the suit might look like on your body before you order. Why don’t more companies do this?!
I have to share one more suit with you, it did not quite stand up to the Mommin at the Beach test.. too much slippage and creeping up the bum. However – I will say that it was super flattering and made me feel hella sexy and confident in my postpartum bod. My husband was also a fan 🙂 So maybe save this one for that anniversary trip instead.
From Nordstrom – Black Crochet One Piece.
It was comfortable and beautiful, but like I said – not quite cut out for full time mom duties at the beach.
I hope these have been helpful to you! They are all a little on the pricer side for swimsuits, however – I will say that I think it is 100% worth the money. I’d rather have two good suits that I can wear on repeat and know will last, than have several flimsy Target suits that only last a season or less.
Also – the benefit with the Kortni Jeane ones is that if you get two suits, you can mix and match them and have 4 options instead of just two! And several of their tops can be worn multiple ways.
Let me know what you think of these suit suggestions in the comments below and if there is anything else you’d like to see me review!
xo,
Katherine
