It’s been about 4 months since we upgraded our fridge to the new Samsung 3 door French Door Family Hub Refrigerator. We are SO happy with it!

I still need to take the time to fully set up all of the apps, but I have set up the ones that we thought we would use the most and it has been so helpful! I will say that the kids LOVE being able to play music directly from the fridge, so Pandora is probably our most used app. However, I love the food / fridge manager app the most. It scans and identifies the foods you put in your fridge so that you can better meal plan and know what is inside the fridge from anywhere at any time! It is perfect for those quick grocery runs when I didn’t have a chance to make a list.

We had a standard 3 door french door fridge before this one that was the same measurements, yet somehow this one has much more room inside. Especially the freezer drawer! We always struggled with our freezer room. The design of this one is 100 times better and there is no problem with fitting all that we usually have in our freezer in it.

My honest thoughts:

The family hub is amazing with all it has to offer, and in trying to be more organized, I have planned to set up the calendar integration soon. I’m also really excited about the meal planner. I’ve used it a few times before, but now that school and work is back in full swing I really need to get my act together and utilize the amazing capabilities! It searches recipes, lets you add them to the calendar, creates shopping lists based on what you already have scanned into your food list, and pretty much does everything except the actual cooking! You can even order all the groceries right from your family hub via Instacart! YEP. You read that right.

This center of organization has already been a game changer for us and I’ve only utilized a small fraction of its abilities. I would 100% reccomend to anyone looking to upgrade their fridge. The interior space increase alone is worth it, and then the family hub technology on top of that makes it a no-brainer.

We opted for the Black Stainless Steel option and I am super happy with it. It is not quite matte but its the most matte of a stainless steel that I have ever had. It is fingerprint resistant ( however we have small kids so it’s not jelly hands proof if you know what I mean.. lol ) But it cleans easily and doesn’t streak!
